Playing Death Games entsteht unter der Regie von Souta Ueno im Studio DEEN. Rintarou Ikeda übernimmt dabei das Drehbuch und Eri Osada das Design der Charaktere.

Die Light-Novel von Yuuji Ukai erscheint seit 2022 und der Manga von Banzai Kotobuki Dai Enkai seit 2023 im Comp Ace Magazin.
